Hello,

My name is Daniëlle van den Bos.

Above, you can see portraits I painted of my parents.

I’m 25 springs young and currently studying Fine Art at AKI ArtEZ. (NL: HBO)

I was born in the Netherlands, in Deventer (Overijssel), but I’ve lived almost my entire life in Hengelo.

Previously, I completed Design and Styling (levels 2 and 3) at Zone College in Almelo, as well as Spatial Design (NL: Ruimtelijk vormgever) (level 4) at Cibap in Zwolle. (NL: MBO)

Painting has always been my greatest passion, and I hope to eventually turn it into my full-time profession.

For me, painting is not just a passion.

It’s also an emotional outlet.

After the passing of my mother on December 13, 2022, I decided to take things seriously and started accepting commissions. I do this alongside my current job at Martin Brinkhuis, an art supply store in the center of Hengelo. I work there with great joy, helping customers with all their questions.
